Canadian Gang Crime

Within Canada there are a lot of different gangs anywhere from biker gangs, cartels, ethnic crime groups etc. These gangs will either make business money off weapon, sex or drug trafficking. They work just like a big company as in they have their head of the company, and levels branch down from there. Some Canadian gangs include Hell's Angels, Red Scorpions, and many street gangs like ethnic groups and triads. West Canada has more triads than other parts of Canada because they are essentially Chinese gangs. Vancouver is known for them just for the sheer number of Chinese people living there. There are not very many cartels known in Canada because there are so many small gangs  that it limits the ability of a large cartel to arise. The majority of crime groups here are just street level gangs based on money or ethnicity. Hell's Angels make their money off of sex, drug and weapon trafficking all across the country. They are the most popular known just because of the amount of chapters they have spread out. The problem with gangs is that if they are big enough they will be able to get away with a lot of things. This is because if there is an incident with the police, the police will not be able to track it back to any leader of the gang. If a leader never gets caught then the will continue to do whatever they are doing because they have the numbers. Gangs like these control a lot of the drug production and distribution in the city which they're located. This also goes for sex workers, paid services and weapon distribution. Hell's Angels are mostly in western Canada, same as the Red Scorpions and most Chinese Triads.
